As a new immigrant to Canada, our founder faced the all-too-familiar challenges of settling in a foreign land without the support network that comes with knowing fellow Malayalis. Unable to easily locate Malayalam-speaking professionals or Kerala-owned businesses, he experienced firsthand the isolation that comes from lacking these cultural connections.
This personal struggle sparked a vision: creating a platform that would ensure no other Malayali immigrant would face the same difficulties he encountered. What began as a solution for the Canadian Malayali community has now evolved into KERALA.GLOBAL—a worldwide resource connecting Malayalis across continents through a shared platform that celebrates our language, culture, and professional excellence.
Our story resonates with anyone who has moved to a new country and asked that universal question: “How do I find Malayali businesses and professionals who speak Malayalam and understand my cultural background?” We all recognize that distinctive “feeling at home” when conversing in Malayalam, where we can express ourselves authentically and completely.
